LA Correspondent on Amazon’s Acquisition of Whole Foods

Report from Fredrik Andersson, our correspondent in LA, California: “More than a month has now passed since Amazon acquired the upscale grocery chain Whole Foods Market. While overall prices have dropped very slightly, the chain has strategically marked down select items, which has brought shoppers back to the stores. In addition, Whole Foods’ private-label products have already sold approximately $1.6 million worth through Amazon. With Whole Foods reputation for quality together with Amazon’s ability to offer low prices and fast delivery, customers should expect an even better experience across all channels.”
