Differ has launched Loyalty Barometer 2026, a new study examining leading loyalty programs across Sweden and Norway.

Developed and led by Differ Strategy Consulting Norway, the study builds on insights from the Norwegian Loyalty Barometer 2025 and now expands to include both the Norwegian and Swedish markets.

The study examines leading loyalty programs in each country to better understand what drives customer satisfaction, engagement, and long-term loyalty. As several programs operate across both markets, the results will also provide valuable insights into similarities and differences in customer behaviour and loyalty drivers between Sweden and Norway.

While loyalty programs continue to attract large member bases, many organisations struggle to convert engagement into lasting customer value. Loyalty Barometer 2026 aims to identify the factors that drive both behavioural and emotional loyalty, providing companies with a stronger foundation for developing more effective loyalty programs and customer experiences.

"Many loyalty programs are successful at acquiring members, but far less effective at turning those members into real customer value," says Pierre Kalmenstam, Partner at Differ Sweden.

"The real opportunity lies in understanding what actually drives behaviour and building programs that go beyond transactions to create lasting loyalty. With Loyalty Barometer 2026, we want to provide program owners with clearer priorities and a stronger foundation for decision-making."

The results from Loyalty Barometer 2026 will be presented during autumn 2026.
